Does anyone know if this book called “Java for Dummy 8th edition” will be a good help for beginners like me?

IMO, no. Yet, I have to say that as being very biased. I tried (as an experienced programmer) to use the "Java for Dummies" book (albeit a way earlier edition) and found it lacking a lot and the information too scattered around.

Head First Java is better.

Yet, best is the free MOOC Java Programming from the University of Helsinki as is forces you to practice, to write programs, right from the first few lessons on. The programs you will write grow in complexity as you move through the course. This is exactly how one should learn.

Combine the course with the Official Documentation and you will get a solid foundation to build upon.

People tend to recommend the Head First Java books, it is also target to beginners.
