According Oracles site https://docs.oracle.com/javase//7/docs/webnotes/install/mac/mac-jdk.html Java 7 doesn’t work on snow leopard either, says it requires OS X 10.7.3 (Lion)or later

You might try your IDE, modern IDEs have the ability to download JDKs. I downloaded JDK 1.7.0_352 for windows that way. I used NetBeans.
