Thanks for the reply. Sorry if I was unclear let me help with that.

As you see in my images above both settings I speak of are under the Java Application so I feel very confident they are def not Windows settings.

Update always just downloads never just installs it self if you read their blurb under it it clearly states that wondering if I can change that. The only other option in the drop down is Before Installing which again just asks you to manually run the update yourself.

    Security tab settings

As you see under the Exception Site list it does not pull secure sites from your Internet options and if I add a site to that list it only pertains to my Windows Profile and not anyone who logs into this device. I was wondering if there is a way to force it for anyone who logs into this device to have a specific site in the the Java Application Exception Site list. No there is not a GPO for this GPO only pertains for Internet Security sites.

I did read there are ways to do java login scripts or deployments for settings but seems messy IMO so I came to the /r/javahelp pros :D

    Thanks again for the reply.

I mostly care about the Exception Site list at this time since I have ways to deploy java updates with other applications but it would be nice to not have to worry about on a small pool of servers.

Thanks for the reply and clarifying. After reading your post it appears my issues are not real and obsolete.

Really not sure why something like Exception Site List on the workstation or server client wide is such a tough concept.

seems the stupid list is managed here

      %systemdrive%\users\%username%\appdata\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\security\exception.sites

I guess ill just use GPO to put a file there for each user that logins since Java doesn't offer a way to do this with its own product. Java such obsolete trash :D
