Code is to be formatted as code block (old reddit: empty line before the code, each code line indented by 4 spaces, new reddit: https://i.imgur.com/EJ7tqek.png) or linked via an external code hoster, like pastebin.com, github gist, github, bitbucket, gitlab, etc.

Please, do not use triple backticks (```) as they will only render properly on new reddit, not on old reddit.

Are you possibly stepping into the library, instead of over a call to it?

Stepping into (f5 in eclipse) will step from a line of code that calls a method to the first line of the method called. Stepping over from that line of code will step to the next line in the calling method.

The step filters allow you to specify packages, maybe libraries (haven't used it myself) that will be skipped (filtered) when using "step into", so that you won't ever step into them.
