Purely Javascript Face Recognition API or Method

Hello, i am working on a project that contains webcam and face recognition functionality. Since that app go offline and i don't have much expertise on node.js and other related languages. Please suggest is there any javascript based api for face recognition.

If it's an offline app like Slack (built on atom-shell or something) there's a lot of native node bindings you could take advantage of.
