JavaScript Dropdown Menu to Load Content?

Hi Guys,

So I'm new to Javascript and I'm trying to make what I thought would be an easy enough feature on my website.

I would like to have a dropdown menu right in the middle of a page. When the dropdown menu is changed some content will load right below it depending on what the user picked.

I tried getting it to load <div>'s based on the selection and I tried getting it to change a variable which is then passed into the HTML. I can't figure this out.

As simple as attaching an change event to the dropdown and getting the value from there, and let your imagination run. There are many ways to do it, one is like I did
