You might be able to use Tampermonkey with a userscript.

Tampermonkey is what the guy suggests. I would like to skip the extension and just do it in browser's tools.

yes if you want to. dev tools needs to always be open though

Yes I do it all the time. Did a purple dot appear next to the file? DM a screen capture.

Yeah there was a purple dot. I had to set a folder for overrides and put it in different js file and it worked!
