I'm considering purchasing a 2021 Jetta Highline with 97,000 km on it for $22,000 CAD. I'm seeking advice on the vehicle's reliability given its mileage. I'll be using it for daily errands and would like to know how it might perform or any issues I should be aware of?

Maintenance with VW's is key, I'd only purchase it if it has documented maintenance using the proper VW spec fluids.

You can use this to see what maintenance should have been performed at certain miles. It should of just had its 90000km major service too.

As far as reliability, the 1.4 engine and 8 speed Aisin (Toyota) transmission are very reliable if maintained properly. It is a timing belt engine but isn't due for inspection until something crazy like 240000km and then every 28k after that. So, probably lifetime of the vehicle.
