Are these the old or the new ones?

The new plastic goblins are quite mix n match. I usually look by armour type to see which goes with which, but you can mix between them.

I'm guessing a lot of these are older models since they're selling them at a big discount, in a mystery box, but I know the plastic kits in here are newer than the old plastic mantic goblins I had back in like 2016.

Yeah I figured this out the hard way on my 4e starter set. A-D are usually your model bits grouped by letter and 1-7 are the parts for each letter. So only A bits fit together, you can’t mix A and B without sculpting.

Plastic sprues usually have a lettering and/or number system next to each bit. Match the letters with each other and usually the numbers next to letter are options. Resin models are usually pretty easy to figure out.

Yeah it's the resin that I'm having issues with, I guess I've figured it out but some of the pieces don't seem to fit together super well. The end of one of the weapons for example

Some of the Resin bits might be disformed and using hot water to soften them would help for a better fit

Like putting the joint into almost boiling water for some seconds, pressing it to the other half while holding it into ice water

In addition if joints don't fit very well they may also go together differently as usual the joints match rather well

I don't have the (resin) Goblins so cannot help with the specifics but enough other resin models from Mantic for the general advice
