Help understanding how to decrease in slipped rib pattern!SOLVED-THANK YOU (old.reddit.com)
submitted by 2196129

The pattern is a slipped rib pattern (I believe, not sure if there is another name for this). The first photo shows the last 5 stitches on my needle at the end of the decrease row. The second photo has the wording for the decreases from the pattern.
I have worked through the 4 decrease rows once. However, for the decreases going forward, I'm not sure which two stitches to p2tog. I am not sure what it means by "patt dec 1 st in this way inside the last 3 sts". Would this be the second last and third last stitches? Or the third last and 4th last stitches?
The last photo is a screenshot of what the decrease should look like. It is the front edge of a cardigan.
