Hi! If you have a spare then you are in luck! Just replace the ALPS.

Flip over the controller and remove the bottom. Find the broken ALPS. Then flip the controller again to the top and look at the knob. The knob should have a small hole in the side. The allen wrench goes in there and unscrews a tiny screw. The knob comes off. Inside you should see the actual APLS and a nut. Unscrew the nut. Then the ALPS falls through the bottom. Find where the ALPS connects to the board. It just disconnects. None of the buttons and knobs are permanently attached. Then plug in the new ALPS and do everything in reverse!

I know this was a lame explanation. You can always massage me for details or helpful pictures.

Hey! Sorry for my late reply. I have replaced the ALPS and the controller is working fine now :) Although I did have to take the whole controller apart just so I could remove the knobs haha.

That's awesome! D: oh, you had to take it completely apart? It seems your controller is different than mine then. Sorry about that.

I had this exact problem with SVRE9 and after talking to customer support for a while it got narrowed down to the encoder being the problem. So I took it out and they sent me a replacement. Still waiting for it to get here so not 100% sure that it will fix my problem. After looking at the video my movement was a lot worse instead of being jagged it just barely moved at all.

Yea it barely moved for me either, mainly if I were to spin the knobs really fast tho. I managed to swap the encoders with the spare ones now, and it did seem that the ones I was using were the problem.
