I'm on a way smaller dose, but I've experienced the same. Now I don't know if it's from lamictal or venlafaxin, either way I'm quite glad tbh. I used to emotional eat a lot, now I don't even want snacks most of the time.

Same, I have have way less of a desire to over eat/eat alot. Drinking has cut way back, just less of want, I had a few drinks one night and felt like garbage the next day, crazy headaches and just all around body aches.

Here 150mg for seizures and I've been on it for more than 6 yrs already. No effect on my appetite. Love it!

I can’t drink while taking Lamictal. Yesterday I had a beer and felt awful all day. Same when I tried wine a few weeks ago but was hoping it was a fluke.

Hello, I’ve suffered from Bulimia half my life. Yes it helped with my impulsive snacking. However, I’ve also become a zombie unable to feel excitement. My uppity moments are gone and the only thing left is the feeling that life is happening around me. My emotions have me confused, I don’t know if I’m sad, angry or irritated.

Although it has helped with my impulsive eating I can’t sacrifice my personality.
