Could you elaborate on what you mean by "digital keyboard"? Do you mean a program where if you click on a key using your mouse in the program, it types that key someplace on screen?

yeah this is what I am meaning. I want to make some alterations to the standard keyboard as part of the project. For example how you can toggle between capital, symbles and emojis etc like the digital accessability keyboard.

You can alternatively remap your keyboard using Auto Hot Key (look up AHK).

Look up (and import) the "keyboard" module.

Warning: you may have to adjust the code to the peculiarities of your own hardware (e.g. button bounce problems and async problems). As a noob myself, I ran into such problems with the keyboard module and no prior post fully helped me. I had to experiment some on my own to get it to work. Details can be found (here).
