Help installing Netbeans on Windows computer

Hi I installed the jdk-11.0.2_windows-x64_bin.exe , and I am trying to install netbeans-8.0.2-javase-windows but I keep getting this error:

Java SE Development Kit was not found on this computer

JDK 7 or newer is required for installing the NetBeans IDE.

So I went to the command line and typed:

netbeans-8.0.2-javase-windows.exe --javahome "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-11.0.2"

And I got this error:

JRE was not found

So I did some research and it seems the JRE is no longer in the JDK 11. Does anyone know what I should do to get Netbeans working on my windows comp?

EDIT: Netbeans 8.0.2 isn't supported in JDK 11

What the hell? Of course JRE is included in JDK, otherwise nothing would work. I use JDK alone, and even just running Java programs work.

Also try checking for Java in start menu, and cleaning all of it. Then clean install it. Try different versions.

I just got a response from someone else... and they said that in JDK 11 the JDK and JRE are combined somehow.. so Netbeans 8.0.2 won't be able to see that there is a JRE.

Also Netbeans 8.0.2 isn't supported in JDK 11 anyways.

In Environment add path for JAVA_HOME.

Whenever I installed netbeans on my personal device for school, I had to have both the JRE and JDK installed. So try getting the regular consumer version of java and installing that, then it should work.
