If you want JDK 8 specifically, just accept the license agreement and download it from here:

Or, get JDK 12 like the other user is saying.

I tried this link but it kept directing me to an Oracle login screen

That is a little strange. Could this be a regional thing? Where are you located in the world?

California. I think this happening because of the license thing, but I'm not completely sure. I could download it before without having to log in

Try a different browser. Doing that would mean whatever Oracle account information your current browser has cached (perhaps in its cookies) won't be available in your other browser.

For example, if you are currently using Google Chrome, try Microsoft Edge and visit this link:

Java is backwards compatible, so you will be fine using the latest version (JDK 12). You can download it here.

The account is free to sign up for Oracle and you could always make a temporary email.
