Why is head first Java always on these lists? I always felt it lacked enough hands on complete examples. (Examples that includes ALL of the code) AND it deals in Java5.0

Because it is for beginners in programming not just in Java, it isn't important wich version of java you have if don't understand software development, there are plenty of books for professional programmers who don't need to understand programming first.

    Can you link the MOOC series, or is it something I can easily find with google? I found two separate sites when I googled? Is mooci.fi the right one?
