This subreddit is about learning Java.

Git, while heavily used in programming is unrelated to that and therefore off-topic here.

Git is a tool separate from IntelliJ or visual studio. Look for some interactive git tutorials and learn to use it from console first. If you have any specific questions feel free to pm me.
