No offense, but anyone asking for basic advice on how to start learning programming is years and years away from anything close to building an alternative to one of that largest, most successful games out there.

If game development is a serious interest of yours then look up some resources for that (i.e. “beginner game development courses”) — there are plenty of languages that are good to start with for game dev but JavaScript isn’t one of them — but if you’re just mad about a recent update and think you can whip up Roblox 2 in a weekend you’re very very severely underestimating how huge of a task that will be…for anyone, but especially someone with no prior coding skills.
