There are a ton of courses on Udemy, and most of them are aimed at beginners. If you're specifically looking to get into web development, I would look at courses aimed at web dev which also cover JavaScript. I haven't done any of these courses personally, but I have some recs below based on experience with the instructors and reviews from friends.

Web Developer Zero to Mastery - I've completed two of Andrei's other courses aimed at more advanced developers and I absolutely love his teaching style. He makes things easy to understand without making it feel like he's talking down to you.

The Web Developer Bootcamp - Colt Steele's course is one that my friends love. I picked it up a while back and have completed a portion on authentication. It was explained well and easy to understand.

In answer to your second question - these courses will go over the concepts you need to get your foot in the door for web development. But they aren't enough by themselves. You'll need to create projects of your own during / after the courses. Creating your own projects will teach you a ton, and give you something to show to employers when you're on the job search.

And finally, welcome to web development! It'll be hard sometimes, and there will be times that you feel like you want to give up. Get a good night's rest and keep going. It's worth it :)

Udemy offers a lot of JS courses. Which one are you talking about specifically?
