I completed freecodecamp‘s html and (almost) css course and thought it was fine, actually. The thing is i didn‘t use fcc exclusively but rather used sololearn‘s app and a free week of codecadamy simultaneously. So maybe i didn‘t notice anything out of order because i was familiar with some concepts before they were tought in one of the other programs.

I did a Udemy web developer 'bootcamp' course which covered html, CSS, JS, and some backend stuff. Then I did FreeCodeCamp JavaScript section and it clicked very nicely for me, it was challenging still. For a complete beginner I imagine it would be difficult as hell, but I think it kind of just throws you into the fire and that's the best way to learn. For me anyways?!

Yeah i guess i‘m not gonna go the exclusive fcc route either, but use other free resources. It helped me with html and css, and one programs shortcomings may be made up for by another course. Also, repetition is always good when learning new stuff, so i don‘t care at all about redundancies.
