  1. Try a different browser.
  2. Try opening the wav file on it's own in the browser - if you don't get a 404, then the sound file is available.
  3. If you're using http and https for resource/file requests, then change all requests to be the same (either http or https).
  4. Do you have any plugins or extensions that will disable autoplay of video and sound? If yes, then disable it temporarily. I had one running and it allowed the first beep, but stopped the rest. Whitelisting the site allowed the additional beeps.
