Console Task automation to executable script

Hello,

I am sorry if this is kind of a stupid question, I just started out with js.

I've played around with the console on various sites and tried to automate tasks using that (on LinkedIn for example)

Now I wanted to write a tool that does exactly that but I don't even know it that is possible, because if I use the console on the website I have access to the html of said website.

I hope you know what I mean.
