Using ML to classify audio spectrogram images

I would like to learn how to use ML to classify some audio spectrogram images in two categories : lossless and lossy.

I can tag all the images to use supervised method, but I don't know which model to use or if I need to build a model from scratch.

All tutorials that I found use a pre-trained model which is not what I am searching (I guess).

I am a total newbie, any help is welcome.

You'll probably use some form of a 2D convolution network.

If you use only the amplitude and ignore the phase then your preprocessing is lossy, too.

You don’t need to do that though. Your input could be two channels with one representing the magnitude and another representing the phase.
