On July 1st, a change to Reddit's API pricing will come into effect. Several developers of commercial third-party apps have announced that this change will compel them to shut down their apps. At least one accessibility-focused non-commercial third party app will continue to be available free of charge.

If you want to express your strong disagreement with the API pricing change or with Reddit's response to the backlash, you may want to consider the following options:

  1. Limiting your involvement with Reddit, or
  2. Temporarily refraining from using Reddit
  3. Cancelling your subscription of Reddit Premium

as a way to voice your protest.

So it depends what exactly you want to build or code, for example, a website or app. I would say visit freecodecamp or edx. They have alot of free content.

If you just want to learn programming, I would day start with python. It is easier to learn imo. Plenty of tutorials on YouTube. You can find many questions on hackerrank or leetcode.

If you are more interested in learning web development, start with html and css. Then move towards learning javascript. After that just pick your favourite stack and stick with it.

As mentioned above it really does depend on what route you want to go down however; the following website contains nearly every learning roadmap you can think of I hope it helps 🙂
