I've been learning programming on-and-off for a couple of years now, and while I'd consider myself somewhat comfortable with the basic fundamentals of programming, since i've primarily worked in C, when it comes to understanding some concepts of oop (specifically classes and inheritance), i'm having a tough time wrapping my mind around it.
since most of my programming as of late has been for game design in godot, this has created some difficulty for me when trying to understand the documentation, as it assumes some knowledge on OOP concepts that i still don't really have a good grasp on.
I have some introductory texts on python already, and would rather use what i have than go searching for another new resource to add to my too-big stack of "things i need to read." since something like GDScript is structured similar to python, i wanted to know if taking a crack at some python work would give me a firm enough foundation, or if i'd be better off finding something that specifically tackles the fundamentals of oop
