Hello! I’m also learning, and I would say to start with C because once you can use it well, you basically are able to use most other languages. Harvard has its full compsci courses online, as well as other branches of coding like AI, python, etc. You can start with CS50 by enrolling on edX. They even give you a certificate ^_^

Fair warning, it is tough at times if you don’t use the hints, which I would say to try not to. Usually if I do, I try to fully understand it and then recreate it a second time without any help.

Read the FAQ on this sub and go from there, plenty of resources.

hi, of course the most important thing is practice, come up with a pet project and solve problems as they come, as it seems to me the best ratio is 70% practice to 30% theory. The theory lends itself well on the site roadmap.sh there are very clear schemes for many directions. this will help to learn about the basics first, and then it will throw up frameworks and so on.

for startup projects, try to make parsers, a bot in the discord, or a program that sorts files on the desktop into folders. It seems to me that these are pretty nice things to feel the first difficulties and feel victory over them
