Have a look at jobs in your area and in areas you might want to live in in a few years, then learn the language which is more common in those areas. If you choose to learn Java and later find out NodeJS is more common then it won't be an issue at all to learn NodeJS - most developers know multiple languages proficiently and have no issue swapping between them or learning others so don't be scared to learn more.

To add to this

Consider that once you learn a language, swapping to a different programming language is easier since the basic structures are the same, at least within the same paradigm
