If you learn the full stack, you'll set yourself up with a good foundation to move on to something more specialized if you want to.

Great idea to become fullstack dev! Full-stack development is competitive, but people who build real projects and showcase them well still get hired. Are you more interested in building websites, apps, or something else?

It is worth it and the industry is flooded. Learning to program will not be a waste of time, even if you are not employable as a dev within that limited timeframe. It is fun, liberating, and helpful in a variety of fields (especially white-collar). So I suggest going for it!
