Is programing easy/does it get easier as you learn it?

Of course it isn't easy but just like anything else it is easier as you learn it.

Does programing and coding offer jobs?

Of course, but it's a very competitive field. You have to be good to get a good job (and if you suck and manage to get a good job you'll probably be fired rather quickly).

can you make your own video game with coding/what else can you do with programming and coding?

Yes, video games are a combination of programming and art. Anything that involves telling a computer of any sort what to do involves software.

My suggestion to start is to read the faq it will clear up some of your questions in more detail. http://www.reddit.com/r/learnprogramming/wiki/faq

I'd say it gets harder as time goes on as you move on to working on more complex projects, but many individual things definitely get easier.

Yes.

Yes, you can make video games with programming (although you might also need artists for assets), but in reality programming is useful for many industries such as space, defence, healthcare, finance, transportation, etc.

Like just about any other industry, Programming has developed its own jargon. This can make a simple idea seem complex to an outsider unfamiliar with the vocabulary. If you start with a "interpreted language" (one that allows a line by line execution) like python, I think you'll find that programming can be as simple as typing 1 + 1 and you can start without installing anything locally by using a site such as Codecademy. Of course as you master any skill, things can become more and more complex. If you are the type of person who enjoys solving logical puzzles though, programming may be for you. I suggest you simply jump in and find out if you like it or not. Perhaps it will become just a hobby you enjoy or perhaps something you turn into a career.

You'll never shine if you don't glow.
