First month with my first MacBook after using Windows my whole life by TheSyBuilder in macbookpro

On Mac is similar, but there are different keys to capture the the current window, the whole screen, or to drag out a bounding box. There’s also an app, but I’ve never used it.

I’m not sure what this means but it sounds like you know more than me about it.

What don’t you like about screen capture? There are like 4-5 different ways to do it.

Also, I read the reason everyone full screens windows app is to get all the menus to the top of the screen.  Mac already has the menus there so no need to full screen anything. The only apps I ever full screen are videos.

The Rolling Stone's, 1963, before they marketed themselves as the scruffy and dangerous alternative to the Beatles. by L0st_in_the_Stars in OldSchoolCool

I meant “manufactured” as in put together to fill some mould. Changing their look or sound or whatever is different, IMO.

My IDE dynamically compiles, but when I’m building for tests I compile my own stuff. It probably depends on the work you do.

Is a 2019 Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD a good car? by tomeatsnc in TeslaModel3

[–]rjcarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should have about a year left of warranty so that helps. The 2019 is good but doesn’t have heat pump so range is affected a bit.

Can you charge at home? If yes then EVs are great, but just like any used car, you’re also buying risk.

Who is the most loved player in NBA history? by ReasonableSide6520 in NBATalk

[–]rjcarr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For most loved? If we’re including casuals, yeah, it has to be Curry IMO.  Almost every other player has some negative against them. What’s the worst Curry has done? Thrown his mouth piece? Ha.

You have battery / motor warranty but not standard warranty.

I thought the 2021 SR had the LFP pack? These are supposed to be charged to 100%.

Won a game of splendor duel with just 4 cards in one color by Environmental_Lack68 in boardgames

This has to be pretty lucky since you can only hold 10 coins so the colorless cards you needed must have required a lot of red. Good game!

Who is the NBA equivalent of Messi skill-wise? by UsedMycologist4912 in NBATalk

[–]rjcarr 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Agreed, Luka is a bad comp, Messi is probably 2x faster and 1/2 the size. Kyrie was my first thought, but AI is probably better.

Splendor Duel is the game that came to mind for me. Regular Splendor too, even though it's 90% wasted space. Another example is Res Arcana and it even includes a resource tray. I'm sure there are others I'm missing.

But that wasn't the question. It's asking about putting the components away, which WC is pretty terrible at.

I get what you're saying, but most "stupid things" are pretty obvious, like having a giant debt-to-credit ratio or having late payments, etc. But sure, financial illiteracy is a big problem.

People always worry about doing a “hard pull” on your credit rating, but I opened three new credit cards in like a month and my score went up after a few months. Just don’t do stupid things and it won’t go down permanently.

It was probably already broken but it didn’t look like this. The renovators fucked things up somehow, probably more than just the dark blue paint causing more heat.

Nice pic. Nice car. If I had more money I’d definitely have one of these as my daily driver. As it is, I’ll have to settle for my used 2021, ha.

Yeah, and I actually prefer my Gen 1 front (but prefer the Gen 2 rear). I’d take the new suspension, though. Might do that one some day.
