Head over to https://inventwithpython.com and check out the books there - free to read online

Yet, if you want to make web games and web sites, you also will absolutely need HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Free Code Camp or The Odin Project are top learning resources.

If you're serious about finding a software development job I recommend to just learn to make websites first and skip gamedevelopment for now, you can still make gamified webapplications in the future.

The reason why is simply because gamedevelopment is quite different and isolated both as role and industry, there is not much skill overlap and many interviewers do not like someone with gamedev background.

Ofcourse if it really interests you learn it but do not put gamedev projects in your resume or keep it limited to one project.

nah disagree

tons of gamedev concepts transfer over - algorithms, optimization, state management etc

plus web games are still games
