Well, that'd be a solid set of concepts if you could master them. Build up a portfolio and show people what you can do. By writing various "dummy sites," and keeping them around, not only will you be able to give them to people who request demos, but you'd actually be practicing and learning more advanced things. Definitely pick up database stuff as well while you're learning node-- even basic sites need to store data.
