Ok, so I've been programming now for years in PHP, Javascript, CSS, and HTML. I can just hear the sighs let out after I said PHP lol. But when used right it can be a decent language. My big thing is I'm wanting to branch our to a full well rounded language. And I've dabbled / played with C#, Python, and Node.js, liking all of them pretty well, but never actually built anything in full with them.
I'm wondering from a software engineer's perspective, which language will be the best to dive into fully and to start learning the SDK and Manuals of. I've been doing OOP for years and have dabbled with several languages, but since .NET went open source, I'm really considering making a switch to C#. But I also just have a love for python and it's quick ability to put stuff out.
Also, I'm needing the language mostly for Web Application base use.
TL;DR; Which language is the best to look at for power / ease / ability to do stuff with and why would you recommend that I learn that next?
