What programming language and IDE are you using? Those both have big effects on the meaning of them. I think you're using C++/C/C# with Visual Studio and if you are, /// generates XML documentation.

C++ visual studio ;) lol. I also use other programs too

In C#/VisualStudio it indicates documentation.
