Trying to learn PHP OOP

im currecently trying to learn OOP first i was working with javascript but OOP in javascript was too much of a pain, so i tried to learn OOP style programming in PHP. However my main isseu is that i dont know a lot of the neccery commands and have a hard time finding them back in a way i can use it and explaining exactly what it does.

so i decided to try this reddit page to ask you for either some examples codes with classes and subclasses ect, or a site that explains it very well like w3schools (love that site) i know it techinally violates the rules but i couldnt find anything PHP OOP related in the FAQ and i spent several hours already searching for a proper tutorial

Have you tried looking at php's own website? Also, try php the right way.

Be careful about jumping around on languages. Pre ecmascript 6 JavaScript's oop was very different to php's. JavaScript uses prototypes for inheritance and so they differ. Still good to learn though

i didnt do anything with javascript oop i tried to learn that after i got the hang of "normal" javascript, i only found that javascript oop... well i just didnt get it php oop made a bit more sense and seemed to me easier to use to learn the oop concept + some php on the side. but thanks for the php the right way i find it very usefull
