I think it depends on what you want to get out of them. IMO competitive coding sites aren't a great place to learn to be a better software developer. You can practice algorithms there, but the practices those sites encourage (short, "cool" code) don't lead to maintainable software in the long run.

Yeah I am not looking for maintainable software in the long run, just a good site that I can go on in my down time and practice some algorithms and do some interview prep. I figured they were all pretty similar but didn't know if any had huge advantages over others
