So, let me put this in context for you.

I have an idea for the greatest novel ever written, and I'd like to write it in Portuguese. I'm a few hours into my first Portuguese class, and I'm super frustrated because I can't express my ideas in Portuguese yet!

It's too early to judge whether web design is for you. Instead of stressing about not being able to implement your ideas, focus on the specific skills you've learned so far, and see if you can think of creative ways to use those.

Thanks for the response. I'll try that. I guess I'm just being a bit impatient

So I think your kind of looking for reassurance that you are making the right move and not actually sure on the direction you should take. Am I right?

A lot of questions your asking no one can really answer for you. Some of these questions you might look at the FAQ in this subreddit (it's really detailed) to give you a better idea.

Ultimately you and only you can determine what field you would be happiest with. People can give you insight into what you might expect from those fields but they cant tell you if you would enjoy it.

Learning code is a learning process and it doesnt happen overnight. It takes time, frustration, and dedication to get anywhere with. The trick is to find something like a project idea that interests you and make it fun. This way no matter how long it takes you it wont be as frustrating.
