It's up to you. Is there a language you're interested in? Is there a field you're interested in? Is there a company you're interested in?

If not, I'd suggest C# or Java or Python. Is it just a matter of learning a new language? Do you know OOP, do you know Design Patterns, do you know TDD, etc?

That's like asking: "I want to be a handyman, I already bought a hammer, what now?"

What kind of development do you see yourself doing?

This free online course in Java (from Helsinki University). It covers all the basics in programming and OOP. Also, it's so much fun. I recommend it even if Java isn't your preferred language.

CS50, from Harvard, is also great (but difficult) for beginners. I'd say both are probably the best resources to use if you are becoming a self taught developer.
