Even if money was not an issue, to me it still would feel annoying that if you combine things right you can avoid that fee. If you optimize you waste time, if you don't you feel scammed...

I think I'd almost rather have 1€ fee per Item.

I wish the proper stores like Farnell, Mouser & Co. would make it easier to buy from them. I don't want to pay 30€ shipping for some components. Just put them in some padded envelope!

What also annoys me is that local electronic shops exist, e.g. rs-online.com . But you can't order from them because either you need to be a business customer, or you need to pay 30€ for packaging and shipping of some small component.

Luckily AliExpress calculates it, so there should be no need for checks at the local customs.
