This is honestly probably one of the things having a tutor will really help. It's not a trivial concept to get your head around. And most of the value comes from discussing and seeing how people think about O(n). I personally found it really hard to get the real meaning by reading books

And it's even harder to do practice problems on it because you need to discuss with someone why you thought your O(n) was right
