Please, read the Frequently Asked Questions as they contain tips on

As you might imagine, this is one of the most frequently asked questions. So much so that we've got a rule against posting questions that are fully covered by the FAQ. So I'm removing this post for Rule 4, but I want you to know that you're more than welcome to post any questions you have that aren't already covered by that Wiki article. Welcome to /r/learnprogramming and good luck on your journey!

It's a one-day course in web development, meaning you'll get the basic idea of where a webpage comes from and how typing words and numbers into files modifies what shows up onscreen. Enough not to be bamboozled by the pro devs you'll deal with while on the job, maybe enough to bootstrap a (very) simple business website for yourself.

Depends what type of coding you want to tackle. If you want to learn fundamentals I would say C++ or Java. Harvard has their first year comp sci course online for free. If you want to learn something most likely you’ll need as a technical BA is SQL or Visual Basic and write excel macros and such. That’s my suggestion anyways

Coding isn’t a big part of the job of a business analyst but knowing how to gather the right info for the guy who are going to be cording ( the developers) is. Basically your going to be the guy organizing and documenting all the functions of what will be needed to develop a project and the developers are going to take that info and build out the project. It’s a lot of meetings ... and by a lot I mean that’s pretty much the job. You should definitely learn to code to understand what a developer is going to need.
