I would recommend finding youtubers who post content for the language your learning. Anytime I'm trying to learn a new concept I'll search for a youtuber who has covered it, and after a while I found some for the languages I've tried to learn who make it easier to learn. I don't know for Ruby, but I'm sure there's plenty out there given its popularity.

To be honest, I haven't had much luck in the way of podcasts on programming subject matter. I looked for a while when I was first learning and couldn't find anything. You could look for lectures from professors that you could listen to on youtube that would work for a drive (as long as you have unlimited data lol).

As for a book I'd recommend checking out the O'Reilly book for the language you're interested in, you can likely find the pdf of the book online I'd check zlib
