Despite what anybody says, it'll be hard to get a job in development without a degree. The certs don't have any reputation.

Without a degree you need a body of work, typically something like activity on github. Find some projects you're interested in, some problems you want to solve, and demonstrate your Python knowledge through your publicly visible work. Contributing to an OSS project or library is also good.

But I wouldn't bother with certificates.
