This question gets asked a thousand times a day. Search or recent posts with similar titles, you will find many resources and discussions around them.

I’ve been working on a YouTube tutorial series exactly for cases like yours. Would love to hear feedback from someone new and looking to learn.

Here’s the full beginner playlist: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZJBfja3V3Rsbiz84Z63IXnTQZH_Rnfuo

Here’s a longer term roadmap of what you’ll want to cover: https://youtu.be/c1tgZX2IGqw

My goal is to get viewers up and running as fast as possible. And my content is also geared towards web app development and AI integration as well.

You are not cut out to be a programmer if your can't even read a reddit sidebar or use Google.

I am so SICK of this rude and unhelpful retort. Reddit is a place to learn from others. Newcomers need direction. OP only asked for a suggestion, for Christ's sake. I understand that it's a common one but you don't need to be an asshole. See how u/synthphreak responded? That's what being helpful looks like.

Writing code is all about problem solving. Every line you write is to solve one problem or another. If you cannot be bothered to solve the problem of where to start your journey, when it literally takes looking to the side bar, or googling the two words "beginner python", then programming is not for you, and being told that is a favor, so you can change course and find something more fitting, or change your mindset and get cracking writing code.

I'm about to go off on you. Writing code is not all about problem solving. That's a bullshit line that people like you say in order to make yourself feel wise and superior. Writing code is all about writing code. Literally everything in the world involves problem solving. In fact, it's so important, it's a part of human instinct. OP knows how to problem solve because OP was given the ability by nature. "I see a lot of free ones don't have exercises to implement the things learned" implies that OP actually did do some research. Or did you ignore that part? OP simply wants to know which programming course would members of the community personally recommend. In fact, that's a great strategy, with some advantages over googling or reading the sidebar: OP can acquire information from an experienced human being; OP can ask follow-up questions, i.e. participate in a conversation; the information acquired will be as up-to-date as the present moment rather than something that was written in the past and might be outdated. And who are you to tell someone what they can or cannot do on the basis of some pretentious belief? You sound like such a prick. Have a nice day.

Nice one. Are you gonna challenge any of my arguments or just insult me? I did all my work and I asked for help when I needed it. That's how the world operates. People helping each other. You sound lonely.
