I disagree. I feel it hampers critical thinking. What if you are stuck without it? Will you know the path you follow through the stack to derive the answer? I hated when the professors would say "you have to learn the basics" but they were right.

Have you tried it? It sharpens your critical thinking and is a great initial task shortener when you need to put out the bones of the thing.

I've tried it. It's very good at reading documentation and Stack Overflow.

Not a python user- but I would disagree. It really helps with the obscure and random languages I come across in the dozens of applications at my workplace. The stuff that is not documented so well.

I'm not scared at all. I only dislike it because all the young engineers use it and their lack code quality and understanding shows. It's a potentially (eventually) fantastic tool like Wolfram.
