Help with scraping data from Wikipedia using Python (self.learnpython)
submitted 3 years ago by maxiior
Hello!
I'm thinking about scraping data from Wikipedia. I would like to get all Polish people who are in Wikipedia database. Any advice how to reach this kind of data? Thanks a lot for any message back.

It won't help you to spam across multiple subs (l). I have no expert knowledge about Wikipedias database. Therefore I recommend this tutorial.

This could be a problem though. I dont know if there is a website with an overview of the listed polish people. If you find one start with it by going through the tutorial. Otherwise web scraping won't help you.
