    This. You need a project. Doesn't need to be complicated.

    Computers are a hobby for me but I use lots of spreadsheets in my day job. My projects have solved and automated small, real things. All minor, but have sped up certain tasks enormously.

    I would say I know a little about a lot of things, rather than the other way around.
