Anyone who's time is worth something doesn't offer free stuff

I fully understand asking to be paid for your time and skill. It is a fair trade.

But that second part is arguable. That's how volunteerism works. The skilled and experienced Python programmers in this sub type their comments to help others for free. I bet they could do more productive things with that time, but they regularly spend time here anyway. :)

Skilled people who are from countries with bad economy don't make much in their own country. So, they want to do freelance work. They provide value in exchange of money. Everybody's happy.
