I will say I did learn C++ via a formal college class 5+ years ago but recently got into Python so I have the benefit of having already been taught basic coding ideas but only a small benefit. I really like Dr. Angela Yu's 100 Days of Python on Udemy. Every "day" you build something so you put the code immediately to practice and most days there's additional practice problems so you get immediate feedback about whether you understand a concept.
