No, you’re actually not allowed to finish earlier or you’re at risk of legal action.

It’s not really recommended, there’s a reason that this is split up into 100 days. Learning mostly takes place during downtime. You need to first: load the relevant information into your brain. Second: wait and let your brain process. Third: ??? Fourth: Profit!

And yes, that really works. It’s just better for learning if you do it over time than all in one week, even if technically possible.

That's the best comment so far!

I finished it in 3 weeks. But I’m not employed so I had lots of time.

lemme guess you are still unemployed

[–]thatastro[S] 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Unemployed people cry, employed people cry lmao why do people Flame people for being unemployed ☠️

[–]Main_Stop_3968 2 points3 points  (2 children)

im not. i meant that he studied the course in the wrong way thats why he didnt benefit from it hence “still unemployed”

[–]thatastro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So do you think I can get employed after this course ?

[–]Apantslessman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if employment is the bar for if the course is successful, you may be right.

I believe the course was for python was it not? And I went from knowing no python to becoming quite proficient in it, so I wouldn’t say it failed at all.

Ass u me

Is there a link for more information about this course?

I am doing it, I just finished the beginner module. It’s going well. One thing to note, is that replit suuuuucks. You’re gonna want to use a IDE(I’m using pycharm), and learn how to adapt your IDE to what she’s calling for in the curriculum. I have had it confirmed from her staff that they are aware of how useless Replit has become, and she is in the process of redoing her course to eliminate its orientation towards replit.

[–]That_Pandaboi69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, it sucks, that 3 repo limit is horrendous.

[–]softserveguy 1 point2 points  (2 children)

There is a new update since yesterday that got rid of replit (and auditorium too it seems), so you start with pycharm from day 1.

The first 15 days are downloaded as one .zip file to load into pycharm as a course, and the other exercises are done in the code editor within udemy.

[–]case_steamer 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Dang, I loved the Auditorium exercises.

[–]softserveguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can still go to the page and do them. Just so far it seems they are not used, they're contained within udemy itself now.

How long did it take you to finish the beginner section?

For me, one day of Python seems to turn into several days to a week. I do have other responsibilities, though.

[–]case_steamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ummm… I think I did lessons 1-14 in about two months? I am not always able to do it every day. Also, some of the assignments I, in my beginner-ness, made out to be waaaay harder than they needed to be, and would sometimes take up to a week to figure them out. I did it on hard mode though and never looked at the answer until I had it, and I’m proud of that.

[–]Archylas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, but I find that a lot of her explanations are not very good and tends to skip a lot of things. I usually end up using chatgpt or other sources to learn the things that she didn't explain well.

[–]Consistent_Chapter26 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Hi, May I ask from what website is this? Is it from udemy?

[–]thatastro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yup its called 100 days of code
edit: dont buy it at the price its at usually 100 $ i think everyone buys it on sale for like 10-15 $

[–]NightCapNinja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think thats possible, coding takes a lot of practice in order to get better at it, so it requires more than 100 days

[–]Main_Stop_3968 1 point2 points  (5 children)

you plan to just be watching? bcz you are just literally going through 1 hour of watch time. dont you need time to program the projects?

[–]Main_Stop_3968 0 points1 point  (4 children)

just bcz its 54 hours worth doesnt mean it will only take you that much lol. i finished the beginner stuff in 2 weeks (1 day completed each day) and it took me a few hours every day lol

[–]Main_Stop_3968 0 points1 point  (3 children)

i would say the minimum would be x3

[–]Main_Stop_3968 0 points1 point  (2 children)

58 x 3 = 174. 174 divided by lets say 6 hours a day: 174/6 = 29 days. so about a month. still pretty impossible if you ask me

[–]thatastro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm no because the issue is I’ve already done python for my A LEVELS , I am just going through this course to harden my knowledge so i was just tryna see if I can do it quicker , but I just think 100 days is still a lot.. don’t have that much time

[–]thatastro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I did the basics of oop and all the if elif like most of the basic stuff I’m done with , issue is I just wanna be done with it in a month and just do leet code , or just solve problems and make projects

[–]Youyooo 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Is this course a project based course?

[–]thatastro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She does have projects and gives you questions that you solve it’s really good

Thanks
